  • Role: Quality Advisor Lead - Teamleader Focus

  • Scope: Guide and improve the quality strategy for Teamleader’s software, focusing on test management, comprehensive test coverage, and advanced automation. This role involves contributing to successful project delivery and execution while deeply understanding our product and its impact on our entrepreneurial customers.

  • Location: Ghent, Belgium (hybrid work model)

We're looking for a QA Lead to join us

As a QA Lead at Teamleader, your responsibilities are:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and development teams to understand product requirements and delivery timelines.

  • Quality initiatives: Lead quality initiatives, using project management skills to handle timelines and resources effectively, ensuring projects meet high standards.

  • Shift-Left Practices: Promote and implement "shift-left" practices to encourage early defect detection and prevention across development teams.

  • Quality Assurance Guidance: Offer guidance on QA strategies, test plans, and test cases, ensuring that every release maintains the highest quality and reliability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a connector between QA, product, customer support, internal support and delivery teams to align goals for successful software releases.

  • Process Improvement: Regularly evaluate and enhance QA processes, tools, and methods to boost efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across the organization.

  • Test Automation: Lead test automation efforts, working with delivery teams to build strong automation frameworks that speed up release cycles while keeping quality intact.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks related to software releases, working with stakeholders to safeguard product integrity and customer satisfaction.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, offering insights for continuous improvement.

Job requirements

You’d be a great fit for this role, if you have:

  • 7+ years of QA experience, focusing on SaaS platforms and Agile methodologies.

  • Are able to lead a team and/or strategic quality initiatives.

  • Expertise in "shift-left" practices and strong collaboration skills with product and development teams.

  • Advanced skills in testing principles, techniques, and automation frameworks.

  • Proficiency in test-management tools and automated test frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and project-leading abilities.

  • Experience with web technologies, cloud solutions, and scripting is advantageous.


Strong advantages:

  • Experience with SaaS products or cloud-based technologies.

  • Knowledge of the CRM domain in a SaaS context.

  • Familiarity with project management or invoicing software.

  • Active involvement in industry forums or QA communities.
