Who are we and why should you care?
Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up born in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium, and part of the Visma Group since 2022. Our mission? To make work easier, not harder, for small and medium-sized businesses.
Here’s what we bring to the table:
Teamleader Focus: the all-in-one tool that helps small businesses optimise CRM, projects, and invoicing.
Teamleader One: the go-to e-invoicing software that self-employed pros can count on.
We’ve also been growing smarter through strategic acquisitions:
Teamleader Orbit (2019): helping medium-sized agencies thrive and scale.
Vectera (2022): powering seamless customer meetings.
Dexxter (2024): making financial admin a breeze for freelancers.

We Are Looking for a Product Manager to Join us
This is a high-impact role focused on growing and strengthening one of our key vertical markets. You'll own the product strategy for builders within Focus, working to enhance our product-market fit and expand our share in the construction sector. What makes this role unique:
Vertical ownership: Become the expert on construction workflows within Teamleader, driving strategy for this important segment
Strong foundation to build on: Focus already has solid product-market fit with builders; your mission is to strengthen it significantly and capture greater market share
Business impact: Own adoption, retention, and growth metrics for a strategic customer segment with significant potential
As Product Manager for the Builder Vertical, you'll be responsible for:
Product Strategy & Development
Own the product roadmap for builder-specific features in Focus, aligned with overall Teamleader strategy
Identify the highest-impact opportunities to strengthen product-market fit in the construction vertical
Champion builder needs across the organization, influencing mobile app development, integrations, and core platform decisions
Balance vertical-specific requirements with Focus's broader product vision and constraints
Make data-driven decisions about feature prioritization and resource allocation
Vertical Expertise & Customer Understanding
Deeply understand the pain points, workflows, and needs of construction professionals—from small contractors to larger building firms
Become the voice of builders within Teamleader, representing their needs in product discussions
Drive measurable improvements in adoption, retention, and expansion within the builder segment
Ensure builder customers find maximum value in Focus and become loyal advocates
Collaboration & Influence
Work closely with a specialized team focused on the builder segment, leveraging their domain expertise
Build strong relationships with other PMs, earning credibility to influence cross-team priorities
Navigate different team dynamics with diplomacy and sensitivity
Collaborate effectively across teams and cultures to drive impact without direct authority
Why others chose Teamleader: we're lively, not corporate
We have the energy and boldness of a start-up and the expertise and pragmatism of a scale-up. The result: a team of both young and seasoned professionals led by supportive and approachable managers who give recognition and rewards for hard work. You’ll be working in a fast-paced tech environment with open feedback culture and room for initiatives as well as ideas. You’ll have plenty of room to apply your personality, express yourself, and impact our course of action with your insights or ideas.
On top of that, you’ll get:
An extensive training budget.
A hybrid working model: a pleasant mix of office and home working.
A personal tooling budget, to make working from home as comfortable as from our offices.
Daily budget-friendly in-house prepared lunch and dinner options (only in our Ghent office), as well as Friyays and numerous sport initiatives!
32 holidays on top of the standard public ones! (based on full-time employment).
Our long-lasting dedication to employee well-being, just take a look at our career page and Instagram to see how we keep the Team(leader) spirit going.
We value diversity
Our ambition is to build and sell a product that helps everyone everywhere (starting with Europe) to work smarter, so we want our team to reflect that. We believe that a diverse, inclusive working environment is crucial to realise that ambition, so we’re committed to continue to build and cherish a culture where every colleague feels welcome, appreciated and heard.
Job requirements
You’d be a great fit for this role if you:
3-5+ years in product management, ideally with experience in B2B SaaS
Vertical market knowledge: Understanding of the construction/building industry, their workflows, pain points, and business models—or demonstrated ability to become a vertical expert quickly. Direct experience in construction or field service tech is a plus.
Cross-functional influence: Proven ability to drive impact without direct authority—persuading and aligning stakeholders across teams
Customer empathy: Ability to deeply understand user needs and translate them into product solutions
Results orientation: Experience driving measurable business outcomes (adoption, retention, revenue)
Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch (required), West-Flemish is a plus
