Scope:Help transition Teamleader Focus to a more seamless and intuitive user experience.
Level: Medior-Senior
Location: Ghent, Belgium with hybrid/on-site working model (fully remote is not possible)

Who are we and why should you care?
Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up born in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium, and part of the Visma Group since 2022. Our mission? To make work easier, not harder, for small and medium-sized businesses.
Here’s what we bring to the table:
Teamleader Focus: the all-in-one tool that helps small businesses optimise CRM, projects, and invoicing.
Teamleader One: the go-to e-invoicing software that self-employed pros can count on.
We’ve also been growing smarter through strategic acquisitions:
Teamleader Orbit (2019): helping medium-sized agencies thrive and scale.
Vectera (2022): powering seamless customer meetings.
Dexxter (2024): making financial admin a breeze for freelancers.

We're looking for a Product Designer to join us on our mission
As a Product Designer at Teamleader:
You work in one of our dedicated teams with a product manager & several engineers to identify and solve hard problems – user problems and business problems – in ways that our users love, yet work for our business
You will run the end-to-end design process (design thinking 101) and provide the necessary context to the team about the user needs, workflows & usability challenges
You manage uncertainty and risk by pragmatically performing user research
You gather both quantitative and qualitative insights, by directly interacting with customers and prospects and by collaborating with product analysts and customer facing colleagues
You perform competitive benchmarking to understand industry standards and how we can differentiate
You translate all these inputs into design solutions that are intuitive and of high usability standards. In this phase you play a key role in reducing complexity
You validate these solutions, both internally with stakeholders (CS, Sales, Marketing, etc) and externally through testing or interacting with users in a beta process
You take part in the delivery process to ensure your solutions get refined, implemented and delivered
You closely measure usage and follow-up on customer feedback so you understand the impact of your work and come up with recommendations for further iterations
Why others chose Teamleader: we're lively, not corporate
We have the energy and boldness of a start-up and the expertise and pragmatism of a scale-up. The result: a team of both young and seasoned professionals led by supportive and approachable managers who give recognition and rewards for hard work. You’ll be working in a fast-paced tech environment with open feedback culture and room for initiatives as well as ideas. You’ll have plenty of room to apply your personality, express yourself, and impact our course of action with your insights or ideas.
On top of that, you’ll get:
An extensive training budget.
A hybrid working model: a pleasant mix of office and home working.
A personal tooling budget, to make working from home as comfortable as from our offices.
Daily budget-friendly in-house prepared lunch and dinner options, as well as Friyays and numerous sport initiatives!
Competitive and market-conform salary with compensations and benefits.
32 holidays on top of the standard public ones! (based on full-time employment).
Our long-lasting dedication to employee well-being, just take a look at our career page and Instagram to see how we keep the Team(leader) spirit going.
We value diversity
Our ambition is to build and sell a product that helps everyone everywhere (starting with Europe) to work smarter, so we want our team to reflect that. We believe that a diverse, inclusive working environment is crucial to realise that ambition, so we’re committed to continue to build and cherish a culture where every colleague feels welcome, appreciated and heard.
Job requirements
You’d be a great fit for this role, if you:
have +3 years of relevant design experience, ideally in B2B/B2C SaaS, enterprise software or within a digital product agency
you have solid hands-on experience with product design tools like Figma (a must!), and you're familiar with research and feedback tools such as Dovetail, Usersnap, Maze, Hotjar — or similar platforms.
have the ability and personality to successfully work in a high-pace, rapidly-changing environment. You're resilient and can deal with ambiguity
can showcase concrete examples of your end-to-end design process on a feature, product or project and the resulting impact on the user or business
have strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills. Able to convince different audiences and on all levels, including peers and stakeholders
make decisions at a high pace based on the right balance of judgment, user insight and data. Smartly performing research when needed
are able to learn from and collaborate with multiple departments
are familiar with design systems and component libraries and are able to use and contribute to them
can work independently and handle accountability well
are fluent in both written and spoken English; speaking and understanding Dutch, French or German is a huge plus.
