Role: Business Development Representative - Teamleader Focus
Scope: Drive sales growth for Teamleader Focus in Dutch-speaking markets. Your mission is to identify, engage and qualify potential customers and book high quality meetings for our sales executive team, helping companies work smarter with our software.
Level: Junior
Language requirement: Dutch (native/ bilingual) and English (fluent)
Location: Ghent, Belgium or Amsterdam, the Netherlands; with a hybrid work-model
Timing: ASAP

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join us on our mission
As a Business Development Representative at Teamleader:
You'll have a key role in our Teamleader Focus sales cycle. While generating potential leads and following up on them, you’ll engage with SMB owners and decision-makers in industries such as agencies, construction, IT services and professional services on a daily basis.
Your mission is to move more leads through the sales funnel, by nurturing relationships
You will explore ways to generate sales growth and continuously optimise your sales approach, testing different outreach methods and adapting based on prospect feedback.
You inspire our target accounts to digitalise their workflow. You are free in the way you handle this (phone calls, social selling, mails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, etc.). We will provide you with tools and training to excel at this job.
You will work closely together with our Sales Executives, as you will schedule discovery meetings for them and brief them in the most efficient way possible so that you can work towards your common goal: help companies to work smarter.
You will also be working together with the marketing team to help them identify and pursue the right targets and prospects with the right message.
When you start working you will get in-depth training. You learn everything about us, our story, your colleagues, our workflow-tool and you get an in-depth sales onboarding too. Job requirements
You’d be a great fit for this role, if you:
love talking with entrepreneurs about their business and identify their needs as to their workflow and business processes. We focus on SMBs in industries such as agencies, construction, IT services and professional services. We want you to get to know and understand the target accounts you’re talking to. You have a genuine interest in the SMB market and you want to help our leads to work smarter.
have experience in sales. It's a plus but not a requirement. Preferably, you know a thing or two about B2B outbound sales, prospection, and value selling.
strongly believe in technology and have affinity with cloud-based applications.
are a good listener and you’re able to ask the right questions. You can put yourself in the customers’ shoes and make the buyer feel understood. Your main contacts will be business owners. Your goal is to build a relationship with them and earn their trust.
You have a positive mindset and you don’t let go. Your focus will be calls, you will need to put effort in your calls to transform those into successful conversations. Persistence & positivity are key here.
are eager to learn and proactive. You need to be able to try different approaches, think innovative and change strategies if necessary.
You're fluent in Dutch and English (for all internal communication)
