We're looking for an Accountant to join us on our mission

As an Accountant at Teamleader:

As an Accountant of junior level, you will be responsible for the daily bookkeeping. This will include tasks such as processing of purchase invoices, bank transactions, (preparation of) creditor payments, payment of expense notes, intercompany bookings, general ledger entries and VAT declarations. You will reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.

You will work together with the Accounting Team, Controller and Head of Finance to support the monthly fast-closing, the year-end closing and annual audit.

You have a critical mindset and actively build a relationship with different stakeholders in the organization. You will report directly to the Head of Finance.

Job requirements

You’d be a great fit for this role, if you:

  • Have a masters or bachelor degree in Accountancy/Fiscality or you have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an Accountancy firm or a similar role.

  • Have an understanding of basic accounting principles and regulations.

  • Are a well-organised person with great attention to detail who is able to work on tight deadlines and be prepared to deal with month-end demands. Are tech-savvy with an understanding of financial softwares and Microsoft Excel.

  • Thrive in a challenging and flexible environment with a variety of tasks on your plate.

  • Have great communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbally.
