  • Role: Internship Growth Marketing Event manager

  • Scope: We’re looking for an enthusiastic final-year student in Event Management, Marketing, or Business Management to join our marketing team as a temporary intern. As part of our dynamic and creative team, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities, with a special focus on supporting our flagship Work Smarter event.

  • Timing: December 2025 - January 2026

  • Level: Intern

  • Language requirement: Fluent in both Dutch and English

  • Location: Ghent, Belgium, with hybrid/on-site working model

Join our Growth marketing Team

We’re currently looking for an intern to support our Growth Marketing Team, one of the four key teams within our marketing department. This team plays a crucial role in distributing our content across local markets, through both digital and offline campaigns. With the aim of generating high-quality leads for our sales teams.

But that’s just part of the story. The Growth team also manages all our events, whether they’re organized in-house or in collaboration with external partners. You’ll be part of a dynamic, creative team where you'll gain hands-on experience in a broad range of marketing activities.

Alongside the Growth team, our marketing department includes:

  • the Performance Team, focused on data, tracking, and continuous optimization

  • the Brand Studio, responsible for all things related to the brand (visual and creative)

  • the Go-To-Market Team, which drives product launches and market entry strategies

What will you do?

Join our innovative B2B software company as an Event Management Intern, where you’ll work closely with our in-house Event Manager to help bring memorable events to life from large-scale (customer) conferences to internal company events and branded partner activations. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain an informative experience in: event coordination, partner/supplier management and marketing execution.

You won’t be stuck on the sidelines ! You’ll take ownership of key tasks, build real skills, and have a direct impact on how our events come to life.

  • Assist our Event Manager in executing project roadmaps. Support with the planning, coordination, and execution of our events, including:

    • Our flagship (customer) event, Work Smarter Belgium

    • Internal company events like the Winter & Summer Fold-Up

    • Our partnerships and associated events

    • Smaller local events and hosted meetups (e.g. in our in-house auditorium)

  • Partnership & Supplier coordination

    • Follow up on partner deals and ensure all the necessary assets are delivered on time

    • Follow up on partner/supplier quotations, make sure that everything is within the reserved budget

    • Look at what our competitors are doing and how we can use that to our advantage

  • Create briefings for colleagues (internal), suppliers, partners,... (external) and follow up on them.

Job requirements

You’d be a great fit for this internship if you:

  • Speak Dutch and English, both mandatory

  • Are in your final year of studies (Bachelor or higher in Marketing or Business)

  • Are a strong communicator, analytical and a team player.

  • Have a commercial mindset and organizational skills.

  • Are good at juggling multiple tasks at once.
