Role: DevOps Engineer
Scope: You configure and maintain our cloud infrastructure, Continuous Deployment / Continuous Integration pipeline in close collaboration with our different stakeholders and departments
Level: Medior
Location: Ghent, Belgium; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; or fully remote within the EU

We Are Looking for a DevOps Engineer to Join us
As a DevOps Engineer at Teamleader:
You utilize your extensive experience within the DevOps domain to enhance efficiency, performance, and security of our AWS-hosted cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes services.
You are able to optimize build/test/deployment workflows with attention to developer efficiency, performance, and quality.
Once you have familiarized yourself with our infrastructure, you keep an eye on overall infrastructure cost and propose improvements to reduce costs.
Our development teams can rely on you to provide analysis and assist them with advanced troubleshooting.
Besides that, you will closely collaborate with development, QA, and customer support teams on a daily basis to ensure technical alignment and improve our cloud platforms and customer experience.
Together with your co-workers, you participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and maintain updated documentation.

Job requirements
You’d be a great fit for this role if you:
Have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps practices with a development background in a SaaS context.

Are an advanced troubleshooter. You understand exactly how to create a detailed Root Cause Analysis after/during an incident and implement a future-proof fix.
Can make strategic decisions to make things great and have an active role in the overall infrastructure & devops design & implementation.
Understand what business strategy means and know how to implement that using technical solutions.
Help improve customer experience by introducing pro-active change (both technical and non-technical).
Can be relied on by the larger engineering team ( Operations, Quality Assurance, Development , 2nd line support ) and our support departments for properly written documentation & guidelines and you know how to share knowledge to the teams!
Have good communication skills and consider yourself to be a team player.
Are not afraid to speak your mind strongly and convincingly to get your point across.
Are able to express yourself fluently in English, both spoken and written.
