Who are we and why should you care?

Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up born in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium, and part of the Visma Group since 2022. Our mission? To make work easier, not harder, for small and medium-sized businesses.
Here’s what we bring to the table:

  • Teamleader Focus: the all-in-one tool that helps small businesses optimise CRM, projects, and invoicing.
  • Teamleader One: the go-to e-invoicing software that self-employed pros can count on.
We’ve also been growing smarter through strategic acquisitions:
  • Teamleader Orbit (2019): helping medium-sized agencies thrive and scale.
  • Vectera (2022): powering seamless customer meetings.
  • Dexxter (2024): making financial admin a breeze for freelancers.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to join us on our mission

As Chief of Staff, you’ll be right by the Managing Director’s side, helping set and drive Teamleader’s big-picture goals. You’ll lead key initiatives, guide M&A activities, and oversee data and RevOps teams. If you’re ready to step into a role where you can make a real impact, this is it. Here's what you'll do:

Strategic Operations & Leadership

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to turn our strategic vision into reality.
  • Own the company calendar and OKRs, keeping everything aligned and running smoothly.
  • Lead high-impact projects, ensuring teams stay focused and collaborative.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Be hands-on with M&A—from due diligence to post-acquisition integration.
  • Make sure everything runs seamlessly after acquisitions, developing and implementing best practices, from culture to systems.

Data & Operations

  • Lead our Data & RevOps team, driving process efficiency and turning data into action.
  • Spot inefficiencies and find ways to improve operational processes.

Market Visibility & Thought Leadership

  • Represent Teamleader in the public eye—at events, in the media, and with key partners.
  • Work with marketing and PR to build our brand and credibility.

AI & Innovation

  • Lead the charge on Teamleader’s AI strategy, aligning it with our growth plans.
  • Drive AI projects that deliver results and promote innovation across Teamleader.

Why others chose Teamleader: we're lively, not corporate

We have the energy and boldness of a start-up and the expertise and pragmatism of a scale-up. The result: a team of both young and seasoned professionals led by supportive and approachable managers who give recognition and rewards for hard work. You’ll be working in a fast-paced tech environment with open feedback culture and room for initiatives as well as ideas. You’ll have plenty of room to apply your personality, express yourself, and impact our course of action with your insights or ideas.

On top of that, you’ll get:

  • An extensive training budget

  • A personal tooling budget, to make working from home as comfortable as from our offices.

  • Daily budget-friendly in-house prepared lunch and dinner options (only in our Ghent office), as well as Friyays and numerous sport initiatives (only for colleagues in our Amsterdam and Ghent offices)!

  • Competitive and market-conform salary with compensations and benefits, including mobility options.

  • Our long-lasting dedication to employee well-being, just take a look at our career page and Instagram to see how we keep the Team(leader) spirit going.

We value diversity

Our ambition is to build and sell a product that helps everyone everywhere (starting with Europe) to work smarter, so we want our team to reflect that. We believe that a diverse, inclusive working environment is crucial to realise that ambition, so we’re committed to continue to build and cherish a culture where every colleague feels welcome, appreciated and heard.

Job requirements

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

  • Experience: 7+ years in a strategic or operational leadership role, ideally in SaaS or tech. M&A experience is a big plus.
  • Leadership: A track record of inspiring teams and driving big initiatives.
  • Strategic Skills: Ability to think critically, solve problems, and navigate complexity.
  • Communication: Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Operational Know-How: Experience scaling operations, optimizing processes, and working with RevOps. Bonus points for AI expertise.

Your vibe:

  • You’re results-driven and proactive.
  • Building relationships and gaining trust comes naturally to you.
  • Fast-paced environments? You thrive in them.
  • You embrace our company values and embody a collaborative, positive, and solution-focused mindset.
