We Are Looking for an Accountant to Join us
As an Accountant at Teamleader, you will be responsible for the daily bookkeeping. This will include tasks such as processing of purchase invoices, bank transactions, (preparation of) creditor payments, processing of expense notes, intercompany bookings, general ledger entries and VAT declarations. You will reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.
You will work together with the Accounting Team, Controllers and CFO during our monthly reporting process, in order to generate a full analytical P&L and consolidated balance sheet. This process starts with incoming invoices, revenue allocation, monthly salary and closing bookings and ends with the monthly reporting deck which provides insights in the performance of the company to the Management and the Board.
You have a critical mindset and actively build a relationship with different stakeholders in the organisation. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including the Accounting Lead and 2 controllers. You will report directly to the Accounting Leadand work closely with the Payroll and Office department.

Job requirements
You’d be a great fit for this role if you are:
Have a masters or bachelor degree in Accountancy/ Fiscality or you have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an Accountancy firm or a similar role.
Have an understanding of basic accounting principles and regulations.
Are a well-organised person with great attention to detail who is able to work on tight deadlines and be prepared to deal with month-end demands. Are tech-savvy with an understanding of financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Thrive in a challenging and flexible environment with a variety of tasks on your plate.
Have great communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbally.
