Who are we and why should you care?

Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up born in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium, and part of the Visma Group since 2022. Our mission? To make work easier, not harder, for small and medium-sized businesses.

Here’s what we bring to the table:

  • Teamleader Focus: the all-in-one tool that helps small businesses optimise CRM, projects, and invoicing.

  • Teamleader One: the go-to e-invoicing software that self-employed pros can count on.

We’ve also been growing smarter through strategic acquisitions:

  • Teamleader Orbit (2019): helping medium-sized agencies thrive and scale.

  • Vectera (2022): powering seamless customer meetings.

  • Dexxter (2024): making financial admin a breeze for freelancers.

We Are Looking for a Product Manager to Join us

Teamleader Focus is the all-in-one platform where European SMEs run their sales, projects, time tracking and invoicing. Focus AI is the agentic assistant built on top of it: an agent that knows the customer's business and gets real work done in conversation. After a very successful beta and launch, we are now looking for an AI Product Manager to help scale Teamleader Focus AI for success - adoption, monetisation and proven value for our customers.

As Product Manager AI at Teamleader:

  • We empower our product teams to solve hard problems in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. You will work in a cross-functional team with a product designer, QA and engineers, and with Go-To-Market and Customer-facing teams on beta programs, launches and customer communication.

  • You will own AI capabilities end to end: from spotting a recurring customer job in the data, through shaping how the assistant should handle it, to shipping it, measuring adoption and iterating. Recent examples from this role: a Skills Library of ready-made assistant workflows, trust and approval patterns for bulk actions, and the assistant's handling of quotations and lead intake.

  • Work evidence-first. We can see how people actually use the assistant: what they ask it, where it works, where it fails. You will dig into this data with analyst support, run customer discovery calls, and turn both into ranked priorities you can defend.

  • In an AI product, the behaviour is the spec. You will define in plain language what data the assistant gathers first, what defaults it applies, when it stops for approval, and how it fails gracefully. You write it, you test it, you iterate on it.

  • Hold the bar on trust. The assistant is acting on a real business, so it should never do something a customer can't undo, and it should ask before anything that matters. You will decide where those lines sit, write the tests that prove the assistant respects them, and check it behaves the same way in every language our customers use.

  • Treat shipping as the start, not the finish. You will track usage and business metrics, follow the feedback, and make the case for the next iteration in a clear, data-informed narrative to maximise the impact for the customers and the business.

Why others chose Teamleader: we're lively, not corporate

We have the energy and boldness of a start-up and the expertise and pragmatism of a scale-up. The result: a team of both young and seasoned professionals led by supportive and approachable managers who give recognition and rewards for hard work. You’ll be working in a fast-paced tech environment with open feedback culture and room for initiatives as well as ideas. You’ll have plenty of room to apply your personality, express yourself, and impact our course of action with your insights or ideas.

On top of that, you’ll get:

  • An extensive training budget.

  • A hybrid working model: a pleasant mix of office and home working.

  • A personal tooling budget, to make working from home as comfortable as from our offices.

  • Daily budget-friendly in-house prepared lunch and dinner options (only in our Ghent office), as well as Friyays and numerous sport initiatives!

  • 32 holidays on top of the standard public ones! (based on full-time employment).

  • Our long-lasting dedication to employee well-being, just take a look at our career page and Instagram to see how we keep the Team(leader) spirit going.

We value diversity

Our ambition is to build and sell a product that helps everyone everywhere (starting with Europe) to work smarter, so we want our team to reflect that. We believe that a diverse, inclusive working environment is crucial to realise that ambition, so we’re committed to continue to build and cherish a culture where every colleague feels welcome, appreciated and heard.

Job requirements

You’d be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • have at least 3 years of product management experience on technology-powered products

  • are a daily, hands-on user of AI tools and genuinely curious about how LLM-based products work. You understand prompts, context and their failure modes from experience. You do not need an engineering background.

  • are comfortable digging into product and usage data, and honest about what the data cannot tell you.

  • write clearly and can structure an argument. In this role, writing is also how the product gets built.

  • have worked in agile, iterative cycles with engineers and designers.

  • care about making powerful things simple. You’d rather ship something simple that works on the first try than something impressive that needs explaining before someone can use it.

Bonus if you have:

  • experience in B2B SaaS

  • Dutch or French alongside your English, given our customer base

  • experience shipping LLM-powered features
