As an SQL Engineer at Teamleader; you’ll be part of the Teamleader Orbit support team and responsible for providing second-line technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our customers.
By talking to our customers on a daily basis and dealing with customer problems; you’ll get a good understanding of our product, our customers and their needs. You will work with our customers to identify and resolve technical issues related to data, SQL and queries.
You’ll work together with our first line support engineers to ensure accurate, timely and seamless support that our customers ask for and deserve: you’ll provide insights of our data model to colleagues and clients, advising them on ‘the how’ while keeping performance and data consistency in mind.
If complex business cases come up, you’ll take ownership of the problems and look for a solution, always keeping the experience of our customers in mind.
On a daily basis, you’ll …
Help clients fill a data warehouse through available tools
Create tailor-made reports in-app with the available tools
Offer basic assistance of BI tooling, such as Google Looker
Write SQL reports on the data model while keeping optimal performance in mind
Assist our onboarding teams in setting up new clients (importing data into the tool)
Help merge clients to consolidate their data into one tenant and vice versa, assist companies that decide to go their own way to split the data into multiple tenants
restore backups and help with disaster data recovery
Inspect the behavior of the tool within the log files and provide meaningful feedback to our development teams on how to optimise APIs or business processes
You will talk with tons of entrepreneurs, project managers, CFOs, and operational managers every day. You’ll see them grow and help them become more successful. The first months:
During the first few months, you will be trained on Teamleader Orbit tools and the data model. You will learn our tooling and about our clients by running alongside the first line support engineers, making you a product expert.

You would be a great fit for this role, if you
Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role with an in depth knowledge of and experience with Transact-SQL
Are fully proficient in Dutch (hard requirement) and English. French is a plus, but not key
Have awesome problem-solving skills and a razor-sharp, analytical mind
