To strengthen our Growth Marketing team and drive organic inbound traffic to our web properties, we are looking for an SEO Manager. This is an expert individual contributor role in a well-funded European software scale up, with strong growth ambitions and an excellent company culture. As the first team member to focus on SEO exclusively, this is a great opportunity for someone with the vision and expertise to continue building the foundations of SEO at Teamleader for many years to come.
You will take ownership of our SEO strategy, identify both short- and long-term growth opportunities, and work alongside multiple stakeholders to build traffic and reach Teamleader’s organic growth goals. You have a deep understanding of search algorithms, content marketing, link building strategies, and SEO technology, and know how to make them work for you in order to increase organic traffic to our websites. You have a natural interest and curiosity towards both the product, the buyer and the user, because that is where you find new SEO angles to try out, new experiments to conduct and new traffic inroads to open up. You believe that the best SEO content is written for humans, but optimised for machines and as such work together with the other players in the digital marketing team, and beyond: content, web, video, email marketing automation, SEA, performance, product, sales, customer success, support. You have proven expertise in one of our core markets - Belgium, The Netherlands, France - which allows you to set up shop within weeks and show an impact shortly after.
Some of the key responsibilities:
Establish and own key performance indicators for SEO and keep your stakeholders updated on performance.
Establish and own SEO reporting and performance analytics for SEO across all Teamleader online real estate.
Optimize copy, landing pages and pillar pages for search engine marketing.
Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in SEO.
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
Research, develop and implement search engine optimization recommendations, link-building strategies, technical SEO, on-page/content optimization and authority development.
Manage redirects infrastructure.
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on existing and newly developed code.
Work with editorial, marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.

You would be a great fit for this role, if you...
Have at least 2 years of experience in SEO: an in-depth knowledge of SEO optimisation principles, ranking factors (both content & technical, e.g. meta tags)
Have a strong affinity with our business and our customers (SME's + media/digital agencies).
Have a basic understanding of UX and ideally, you have some experience with A/B testing and CRO. Experience in Craft CMS would be cool.
Have a team player mentality and a positive “can do” attitude; looking for a fast-paced environment.
are fluent in Dutch and/or French and business fluent in English (written and verbal).
