To strengthen our Growth Marketing team and drive organic inbound traffic to our web properties, we are looking for an experienced SEO Expert, reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing and based out of our Ghent or Amsterdam office.
You build traffic and you’re on top of your game. You obviously have a deep understanding of search algorithms, content marketing, link building strategies, and SEO technology, and know how to make them work for you in order to increase organic traffic to our websites. You have a natural interest and curiosity towards both the product, the buyer and the user, because that is where you find new SEO angles to try out, new experiments to conduct and new traffic inroads to open up. You differentiate yourself from many other SEO experts by turning it from a one-(wo)man show into a proper team play. You understand the value of a strong connection with the other players in the digital marketing team, and beyond: content, web, video, email marketing automation, SEA, performance, product, sales, customer success, support. Together, we understand current and prospective customers and continue to engage and activate new audiences for Teamleader. You have proven experience and expertise in one of our core markets - Belgium, The Netherlands, France - which allows you to set up shop within weeks and show an impact shortly after.

You will be the first team member to focus on SEO exclusively, which means you’ll get to help us understand and define the role for Teamleader, it’s significance and requirements, as well as the key performance indicators we track to understand status and impact. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you will be surrounded by a team of A players across all common digital disciplines, and you’ll work closely with peers in our GTM team and Brand Studio team, as well as with the agencies and freelancers we rely on to deliver on our ambitious growth agenda.
Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in SEO.
Establish and own key performance indicators for SEO and keep your stakeholders updated on performance.
Establish and own SEO reporting and performance analytics for SEO across all Teamleader online real estate.
Optimize copy, landing pages and pillar pages for search engine marketing.
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
Develop and implement link building strategies.
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on existing and newly developed code.
Work with editorial, marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Proven SEO experience, preferably in a scaleup B2B SaaS environment.
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
In-depth experience working with SEO software solutions (AHref, SEMrush, Conductor, Moz Pro).
Solid understanding of SEM, managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
In-depth experience working with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite).
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Experience working in a Hubspot + Craft CMS system setup is appreciated.
Experience working in a Jira/agile marketing environment (Asana, Trello etc)
Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
