Senior UX Designer - Belgium / The Netherlands / Portugal

Job description

Selling, planning and billing work in one seamless package. It’s the founding principle behind Teamleader ever since we got started in Ghent, back in 2012. Now we’re 8 years later and we’re still laser-focused on helping over 11.000 small- and medium-sized businesses across Europe to work smarter.

In the product design team we’re not just dedicated to making sure our platform keeps evolving in line with our customers’ needs, it’s our mission to make Teamleader’s myriad of features easy to understand and frictionless to use.

What you’ll do

You’ll be joining Teamleader as Team Insights Senior UX Designer. Together with a product manager you will research opportunities for leveraging the wealth of information in our customers’ accounts and see your solutions through from beginning to end.

But it doesn’t stop there. We’re a tight-knit group in the design team, constantly learning from each other. So we’ll be counting on your experience to keep pushing our user research methodologies, the level of our interaction design components, and advocating our user-centered way of working throughout the entire organisation.

In short:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Marketeers and our customer-facing colleagues to define problems and goals, map user flows and journeys, ideate concepts, prototype interactions to improve our customer experience
  • Identify assumptions and coordinate internal & external, qualitative & quantitative efforts to gather these missing insights in a pragmatic way
  • Collaborate with the product team to drive product strategy and feed the development roadmap
  • Give and solicit feedback from colleagues throughout the organisation (including C-level)
  • Advocate and coach a user-centered way of working both inside and outside of the design team

Perks of joining Teamleader

  • Ahoy! a mature and ever-evolving design system
  • An open, no-nonsense culture that encourages initiative and provides room to pursue it
  • A liberal training budget to spend as you choose
  • A personal tooling budget, to make working from home as comfortable as it would be in our offices
  • Daily budget-friendly lunch and dinner, as well as Free Food Friday and Cava Demo Days …when we’re ready to welcome you at our offices again
  • Our dedication to employee wellbeing, just take a look at our Instagram to see how we strive to keep the Team(leader)-spirit going while we’re transitioning to a remote-first culture
  • An ecological transportation budget for those times you’ll travel back to the office
  • A competitive salary… but that goes without saying
