Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up founded in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium. With Teamleader Focus we simplify work for small businesses by offering an all-in-one solution for CRM, project management and invoicing. Teamleader Orbit, acquired in 2019, focuses on helping medium-sized agencies thrive. By joining forces, we became the logical choice for any European business, big or small, that aims to automate and simplify work.
As a senior accountant you are responsible for the accounting and compliance of the Teamleader Group (7 entities). This will include consolidation, monthly fast-closing, year-end closing and preparation for annual audit activity. Next to the bookkeeping, you will work very closely with our external accountants and tax consultants in order to be compliant with local tax and accounting standards.
You will work together with the Finance manager during our monthly reporting process, in order to generate a full analytical P&L and consolidated balance sheet. This process starts with incoming invoices, revenue allocation, monthly salary and closing bookings and ends with the monthly reporting deck which provides insights in the performance of the company to the Management and the Board.
Next to the recurring closing cycles, there are several projects (e.g. automatic booking and approval of invoices, expense note process, transfer pricing policies, IFRS reporting, new billing system) related to the fast growth environment that need your attention.
You have a critical mindset and actively build a relationship with different stakeholders in the organisation. Next to managing the local external accountants, there is an additional accountant in the team we expect you to coach on the more challenging accounting tasks. You will report directly to the Finance manager and work closely with the Payroll department.
Today, our company is 160 people strong. You will be part of the Finance team of 12 people which includes Finance, Accounting, Credit & Collection, Payroll, Legal, and Data Analytics.
