Project Manager

Job description

Who are we and why should you care?

Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up with two work management products: Teamleader and Yadera. It’s our mission to help service businesses all over Europe thrive by removing the hassle of running a business. 12.000 entrepreneurs and their teams use Teamleader daily to sell, bill and organise work. From IT agencies and digital marketers all the way to plumbers and construction companies.

What we are looking for:

As born creatives, we’re looking for a campaign Project Manager to help us on the organisational part. You will be in charge of coordinating our company's studio. This includes content and campaign coordination and providing input to various team members, external agencies and freelancers.

We are looking for an adventurous and hands-on type, with some experience in delivering marketing projects under their belt, to join our team in Ghent.

Where will you end up?

You'll end up in our Brand Studio. The studio inside an ambitious/growing software company. We are in love with our brand and fully in charge of spreading the gospel of Teamleader. We mostly do that by building campaigns and creating great content. We challenge the status quo in a vivid startup spirit and encourage ownership. Open challenge and feedback are cornerstones of how we do things. We get things done, then analyse to do it better the next time.

The Brand Studio is an enthusiastic team striving for excellence. We constantly look for new ideas and ways to do our work differently. If you want to try or launch something new, you can. One thing is for sure: the team is known for being a happy bunch to work with. We believe our culture is quite unique and anything but boring. We aim to become a market leader in Europe, and you just might be the positive person with some zing who will help us get there.

Why others chose Teamleader: we're lively, not corporate

  • You are part of a fast-growing company that values getting things done and honest communication. The result: a fast-paced tech environment, open feedback culture, room for initiatives and ideas.
  • We have the energy and boldness of a start-up and the expertise and pragmatism of a scale-up. The result: a team of both young and seasoned professionals led by supportive and approachable managers who give recognition and rewards for hard work. We also value transparency about results and strategy.
  • You have your own personal budget to spend on training or (virtual) events and numerous other internal advantages. The result: continuous growth and learning.
  • You have a pleasant and comfortable workplace within cycling and walking distance of the heart of Ghent. But we are flexible: working remotely is absolutely no problem. And mandatory since the world got hit by COVID-19.

Even in COVID times, Teamleader is a happy, purposeful place. While we miss our shared kitchen and sunlit terrace, our setup allowed for a swift change to a functional and engaging remote work environment. We compensate for social distance with quizzes, cocktails delivered at home, informal chats and events, work-time flexibility, competitions, extra coaching and everything else you can think of.

Sounds interesting? You would be a great fit if you:

  • have 5+ years experience in marketing or agencies in a fast-growing environment, and are able to bring a proven track record in delivering marketing projects.

  • are a master coordinator. You are analytical, have a clear view on what needs to get done and can coordinate the work within a team and across teams.

  • are a skilled communicator and negotiator who knows how to keep a papertrail.

  • are not easy to confuse and you are great at thinking on your feet.

  • are able to oversee a budget for content creation, agencies, and freelancers.

  • are able to get into in-depth discussions with digital marketers and other specialists in the field.

  • have proven experiences working with agile project management systems, i.e. Asana, Jira or Trello.

  • thrive in a fast-moving environment and are able to manage short term deadlines and plan ahead for what’s to come.

  • are fluent in Dutch and in English. Fluent French is a nice plus.
