Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up founded in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium. We offer an all-in-one platform for CRM, project management and invoicing, helping more than thousands of SMEs work smarter. We’re growing at rocket speed, and are enjoying every bit of this rollercoaster ride: in just 2 years, we opened 5 additional offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, and Paris. Our ambition stretches far and beyond: we want to become Europe’s #1 in our industry. Today, our team consists of 170+ people and is still growing strong.

Our team is packed with experts in their field, we have tried-and-tested playbooks to benefit from, and plenty of resources at your disposal.
To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a PPC Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team, with the HQ team based in Ghent.
Are you based in one of the other cities mentioned above? No worries, as we are a technology company, you can just work from one of our offices.
What an average work day looks like
It’s Monday, you arrive at the office, already itching to look at how your SEA and social campaigns did last week. You dive into the performance and prepare your plan of attack for the coming week. When you are done, you rush into the weekly stand-up with your fellow PPC specialists to share your findings and plan of attack. With the input from the team, you found the best solution.
With those in hand, you start your week. You think; now the real work begins. You immediately implement the quick wins. After lunch you have a short meeting with your fellow marketers, a content marketer from Ghent and a local marketer from Italy, who are, together with you, responsible for the ideation, production and execution of new campaigns. Together you decided on the final ad ideas of your newly pitched campaign. After the meeting you brief the designer so he can get to work and you update the project plan. Next, you start checking of boxes as you get to work on your plan of attack, you defined that morning.
Before you rush out the door to get home, the local marketer from the Netherlands just sends you a question through Slack, to help generate sign-ups through LinkedIn for a webinar she is organising next Month. You exchange some ideas, agree on what you will do and a go-live-date. You pick up your bag and rush out the door.
This is how an average day will look like. Other than the examples mentioned above, we will ask you to be part of the team and, thus, work together to design the strategy and tactics on PPC, occasionally make an ad hoc data analysis, and be part of the forecasting process.

You will be part of the marketing HQ growth team. A young and enthusiastic team working with the latest digital marketing techniques. We believe our culture is quite unique. We are looking for adventurous, hands-on intrapreneurs to be part of our international expansion project with the focus on exploring new markets in Europe.
Sounds like something for you? You would be a great fit if you;
Have 2 to 3 years of PPC (pay-per-click) experience, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus;
Have managed complex, multilingual Google Adwords, Bing, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Other PPC channels are a plus;
Have a clear understanding of channel disciplines and how they impact each other;
Are obsessed by making sense out of the tons of data your campaigns produce. You are able to using those insights to improve your work;
Know the in’s and out’s of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager;
Have basic experience with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools;
Have experience in running A/B tests with tools such as VWO or Google Optimize;
Have a first experience in project management, overseeing all the elements that build up the ideation, content creation, implementation and optimization of campaigns to ensure delivery to the highest standard and to deadline;
Have professional proficiency in English and speak at least on of the following languages: Dutch, Spanish, French or German;
Are used to collaborate with multi-disciplined teams and remote teams;
Are the kind of person who does not wait to be given problems. Seeks them out to continue to challenge our current ways of working;
Thrive in a fast-growing environment and have a proven track record of over-achieving outstanding marketing results;
Fit in nicely with a young and enthusiastic team of marketers.
Do you believe you are the person we are looking for? Well if you are, you will be responsible for;
Project manage the launch of PPC campaigns: responsible for campaign ideation, production oversight, content and campaign launch;
Manage daily responsibilities of PPC activities including campaigns’, optimisations, reporting and forecasting;
Proactively find new and innovative ways to improve campaigns’ performance / test new campaign formats and PPC channels;
Monitor competitor activity and counter their activities when called for;
Proactively stay up to date of the latest PPC trends to apply in the business where applicable;
Communicating with stakeholders, such as local markets and other HQ marketing teams, acting as a PPC ambassador and educator;
Representing the customer, being able to put yourself in the consumer’s shoes to understand what will increase the number of ‘clicks’ into a website.
