We're looking for an Office manager to join us on our mission.

As an Office Manager, you ensure that our offices are a great working environment both from an atmosphere as well as a facilities point of view. You live and breathe our values (check them out here) whilst creating the best work environment for yourself and your colleagues. You’re structured but flexible (a cliché, but oh so true in this role) and you’ll be in touch with all colleagues from start to finish and you'll become part of our fantastic finance team!

As a an office manager at Teamleader, you're responsible for:

  • Office management:
    • You ensure everything in the office is running smoothly and own day-to-day office operations, including - but not limited to - maintenance, supplies and equipment.
    • You take initiative to make sure our offices breathe our culture, a place where everyone feels at home. You’ll be responsible for both our offices: Ghent and Amsterdam.

  • Fleet management:
    • You are responsible for fleet management, this includes both a bike parking lot and a car parking lot (+50 cars) in both Belgium and the Netherlands.

  • People management:

    • You’ll work together with our two office assistants (1 in BE and 1 in NL) and you’ll manage everything related day-to-day office operations and internal events.

    • You’ll manage our two internal cooks. They are responsible for serving delicious meals and snacks for our colleagues.

  • You’ll work closely together with HR as you will be responsible for the operations of L&D tasks and EX tasks brought forward by HR. Such as organizing team events, trainings, learning lunches,...

  • You own and maintain budgets in collaboration with the accounting team, as well as managing travel and expense platforms.

You’d be a great fit for this role, if you...

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in running an office or store in all it aspects.

  • You know how to manage a company fleet.

  • You’re an excellent communicator - friendly but assertive - in both Dutch and English.

  • You’re a quick thinker and a fast learner. With your ability to structure and prioritize, multitasking isn’t a problem for you.

  • You get energy from leading a small team (on site as well as remotely) and know how to motivate and engage people. Ambition in leading a team? Great! Experience? Even better!

  • You're not a rookie when it comes to DIY laptop troubleshooting and network infrastructure; we don't expect you to be a network engineer though ;) But have you tried turning it on and off?

  • You don’t mind being flexible and understand we sometimes host early morning breakfast or evening events. You’re flexible to travel once a month to our Amsterdam office.

  • You’re pro-active, enjoy taking responsibility and always on the lookout for improvements.

  • Are patient, empathetic and able to keep your calm, even when things get busy.
