To accelerate our growth, we are looking for a Legal Manager who will closely interact with all internal stakeholders to develop, negotiate and update commercial contracts. This person be responsible for the set-up and maintenance of all internal and external legal processes. Next to that he/she will also have DPO-related (20%) responsibilities.


What an average work week looks like

You advise our internal teams on legal matters. Where needed you consult and seek advice from external legal partners. You report directly to our CFO. As part of your legal counsel role you own the DPO and Data privacy activity at Teamleader. You oversee and report on Teamleader’s internal and external processing activities and security guidelines, making sure all activities are consistent and GDPR-compliant. As an intermediary between external partners, internal departments, executive committees and the Data Privacy commission, you establish and maintain positive relationships. You train internal staff, create and deliver awareness campaigns on a global and local level and present salient legal issues affecting Teamleader’s business to customers.

Requirements

Sounds like something for you? You would be a great fit if you

  • Have 3 years of experience in general commercial legal matters.

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.

  • Have experience with GDPR-related matters (a DPO certificate is a plus)

  • Are dedicated, stress-resilient and highly organized. You have an eye for details and don’t mind deadlines.

  • Love working in a challenging and flexible environment, having a variety of tasks and working in a team as well as independently.

  • Have excellent communication skills, written and verbally

  • Are professionally proficient in and English ad Dutch. Extra languages are a nice extra!
