Job description

Sales Executive at Teamleader advises small to medium businesses about their office software. Our goal is to help entrepreneurs work smarter with our all-in-one tool. 


You help entrepreneurs to work smarter

After potential customers activate a 14-day trial, you are their go-to person. With your laser-focus and self-starter attitude, you identify future fans in the blink of an eye and you schedule a demo with one of your colleagues for them. We want you to build a relationship with the entrepreneurs you’re talking to. We want you to help our leads to work smarter.

Growth path


You start at Teamleader as an Inside Sales rep. This way you will be trained in our sales methodology and will learn more about Teamleader as a product. You will be the first point of contact with our potential customers who reach out to us via a demo account. Your goal is to understand the needs of our potential customers during a discovery call and plan a meeting with one of our product specialist.


After your successful first months you will be promoted to a Sales Development Representative role. This time it’s your job to proactive reach out to our potential leads. We will provide you with leads which are higher in the sales funnel. You will have more ownership and are able to build a relationship with your leads. In the last phase, you will connect the potential customer to a product specialist.


The final form of evolutions is a Sales Executive. Now you are a Teamleader and Sales expert. You will host all Sales/Product demo’s of Teamleader and show all the benefits for our customers. From now on you are the top of the food chain and it’s your job to deliver on a steady revenue stream month over month.


Dynamic, vibrant and positive office life

You will talk with tons of entrepreneurs everyday and most of the times, Teamleader is their first step to digitization; we really make a difference. You get to know your leads very well in a short period of time, our average sales cycle is 20 days. Above all of this, you will start with a training period of 1 week in Ghent. Once you are up and running, you will join your team in Amsterdam. 


Besides that, we end the week with drinks and go on very, very fun team outings (FIFA tournament) during the year. You will have 150 colleagues , whom you will e-meet in the bi-weekly fold-up meeting and meet in real life during company teambuilding events. Be prepared for a very international environment! Requirements

Is it you, we are looking for?

You love to talk with entrepreneurs about their business and identify their needs as to their workflow and business processes. Preferably, you know a thing or two about B2B sales, Customer Relationship Management and entrepreneurship. You have an HBO You strongly believe in technology, have a passion for sales and have an affinity with cloud-based applications. You are eager to learn and want to grow on a personal and professional level, in a competitive environment.

Besides that, you speak fluent Dutch (native level) and English (professional level). We don’t require work experience for this position, as long as you can prove you’re a hard-working person with some great deal of willpower.
