Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up founded in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium. We offer an all-in-one platform for CRM, project management and invoicing, helping thousands of SMEs work smarter. We’re growing at rocket speed, and are enjoying every bit of this rollercoaster ride: in just 2 years, we opened 5 new offices: in Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, and Paris. Our ambition stretches far and beyond: we want to become Europe’s #1 in our industry. Today, our team consists of almost 200 people and is still growing strong.

To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a Head of Growth Marketing.

What an average work week looks like

Our growth marketing team’s quest is to support the company’s revenue intake, by continually improving our inbound demand. They’re expected to do this by increasing both the volume and quality of our incoming leads. Your responsibility will stretch from defining the team’s strategy, to constantly seeking new actionable insights, through to leading and personally supporting its day-to-day execution (to use known clichés: you like “rolling-up your sleeves” and “getting your hands dirty”).

The growth team’s current main focus is on Search Engine Marketing, website optimisation & SEO improvements. With your guidance, the team will continually improve on all of those and expand to other effective paid and non-paid channels.

Reporting to the VP of marketing, you’ll have a strong bias to action & results, based on data-driven decision making. Other than leading the growth team, you’ll work closely and collaboratively with the other teams in our marketing organisation: ‘field marketing’, ‘brand’ and ‘product marketing’.

Sounds like something for you? You would be a great fit if you:

  • Are an expert in at least one of the following and have proven experience with all others:

    • Managing Google AdWords

    • Managing another effective paid advertising channel (strong preference for experience in using Facebook ads to target small businesses)

    • Website-performance and search-engine optimisation

    • Performance management and insight gathering using web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

  • Are a great people manager, with proven experience of effectively leading a team

  • Are fluent in English and at least one other of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch

  • Have over 8 years proven experience for all of the above, with at least part if that experience ideally gained in marketing a SaaS solution to small businesses
