What a day in your life will look like

In order to fuel our growth and further build our marketing strategy, we are looking for a digital marketing expert to join the central marketing team in Ghent. At the start of the day, you check if there’s any local marketing requests coming in, where you can help with the setup of technical assets, like a specific landing page for a local marketing campaign. When these requests are done or planned, you move on to your active projects. You work together with the organic marketing team on the referral program, the website and marketing automation projects. You check if we’re on target to reach our monthly lead target. You enjoy your lunch pause by taking a plate of the awesome salad buffet. If you’re up for it, you play a game of pingpong. Afterwards we have a team meeting to discuss our weekly progress and you present your ideas how we will reach next month’s target. You work together with the copywriter and designer to finish campaign assets. When you’re done with your tasks for the day, you leave the office and take some containers of the kitchen dish of today with you, so you don’t have to cook for the family tonight and you’re able to enjoy a relaxing evening.


This is what you’ll do

  • You will support the marketing team and country marketeers in the technical setup of any marketing campaign that requires technical resources and assets

  • You’ll support in maintaining Hubspot, our marketing automation system, by optimising existing email flows, creating new email flows, optimizing landing page and email templates, setting up lead scoring and various other automation related projects.

  • You think about which copy we need and you’ll work together with copywriters to get the perfect copy to convert visitors to customers, on the blog, on emails and on landing pages.

  • You’ll create smart email flows, define the right call to actions and the kind of content needed in each phase of the funnel.

  • You manage automation performance for website visitors, MQL’s, SQL’s and lost leads and report stats on a weekly basis.

  • You own our referral program, the referral program assets and report on the performance

  • You’ll collaborate in business intelligence and dashboarding projects.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3 year experience in a digital marketing function

  • You are a dynamic young professional with an analytical mindset and an unconditional love for data analysis

  • You have worked with one or more marketing automation tools before (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot,…). Experience with Hubspot and owning the related certificates are a big plus.

  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a “can do” mentality

  • You have a strategic, long term view but you don’t mind to carry out the operational work that stem from these projects.

  • You speak English fluently

  • You have at least basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • You work well structured and have excellent project management skills

  • You are great with building reports and analysing data in order to define next steps.
