DevOps Engineer - Ghent

Job description

Who we are and why should you care?

Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up founded in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium. We offer an all-in-one platform for CRM, sales, project management and invoicing, helping more than 8,000 SMEs work smarter. And we’re growing at rocket speed, and are enjoying every bit of this rollercoaster ride.

Scale-up, you say? Yes, we are already playing with the big guys. We have the make-it-happen attitude of a startup but the resources and skills of a scale-up. Our team is packed with experts in their field, we have tried-and-tested playbooks to benefit from, and plenty of resources at your disposal.

To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our headquarters in Ghent.

What an average work week looks like

You configure and maintain our Continuous Deployment / Continuous Integration pipeline. With your razor-sharp mind, you monitor the performance of our application and implement improvements whenever you see fit. As our application continues to grow, it’s your responsibility to help scale the cloud infrastructure and increase redundancy if deemed necessary. In addition, you perform disaster recovery tests as well as log analysis and troubleshooting. Furthermore, you take part in an on-call standby rotation and help write and update documentation.

We are lively, not corporate

Teamleader is not your average “do this do that” IT company: the development team is more of a company within the company. The management trusts its decisions, which allows the team to make a real impact on development and product decisions. Fun fact: we deploy 15 times a week and you get a budget to visit the other offices. Work in sunny Milan, romantic Paris or hipster Berlin from time to time and get to know your international colleagues.

Looking for a fun, open and stimulating work environment? The quest is over: at Teamleader you get the time and budget to develop yourself at conferences and meetups, you can order takeout from the kitchen for you and your family and enjoy sliding work hours. We really push ourselves to give each and every employee the best possible work-life balance. And let’s not forget the afterwork activities - like a workshop in public speaking - Cava (or beer) Friday and the international fold-ups that always result in big international parties.

Requirements

Sounds like something for you? You would be a good fit for this job if you have experience with:

  • Container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes)
  • CI/CD experience
  • Orchestration experience

It's a plus if you have Cloud experience (AWS ...), database experience (MySQL, Redis ...), scripting skills or monitoring experience.
