To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a Copywriter - Content Marketeer to join our HQ in Ghent, Belgium.
This is what you do:
You propose relevant topics for our specific target audience.
You write various content pieces for brand awareness and lead generation purposes, such as blogs, infographics, presentations,...
You do market research and use that information to write articles in the top of the funnel, profiling Teamleader as a thought leader.
You own the content posting calendar
You write social media posts (related to the content you produce)
You contact customers to write testimonials
You keep website copy up to date and A/B test copy for conversion optimisation
You write newsletters to customers, prospects, leads, etc.
You will be involved in projects regarding content strategy, inbound marketing, marketing automation & content planning
You closely collaborate with the HQ marketeers and field marketeers in the different countries.
You perform quality checks on the content produced by other copywriters
You are a result-driven person who gets a kick out of producing content that brings ROI
You have a sharp pen and a broad vocabulary.
You know the ins and outs of content SEO.
You use a compact, stripped-down SEO proof style with ease while always keeping your reader in mind. "Kill your darlings" is your motto, and writing, scratching and rewriting doesn't scare you off. Next to that, you are aware of the ins and outs of content marketing and you can give of some proof of your experience in that domain.
You've had some years of experience writing B2B related texts and have taken part in projects regarding content marketing.
You at least have a bachelor's in journalism, linguistics and literature, communication or comparable.
You're creative and can work independently.
You have good project management skills and are able to structure your work and manage your deadlines.
Your English and Dutch are excellent.
Knowledge of French, German, Italian and/or Spanish are a plus.
Affinity with all things digital is a requirement. Affinity with and knowledge of the world of small business is a plus.
