Who are we and why should you care?

Teamleader is a SaaS scale-up founded in 2012 in Ghent, Belgium. We simplify work for small businesses by offering an all-in-one solution for CRM, project management and invoicing. In the summer of 2019, we acquired Yadera, which focuses on helping medium-sized agencies thrive. By joining forces, we became the logical choice for any business, big or small, that aims to automate and simplify work. To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a Business Development Representative. 

What you'll be doing?

Your mission is to move more leads through the sales funnel. First of all you get in touch with digital, communication and IT agencies about their office software. Your goal is to help those agencies to work smarter with our all-in-one tool. With your laser-focus and self-starter attitude, you identify and convince future fans in the blink of an eye and you schedule a demo with one of your colleagues for them. You are free in the way you handle this (phone calls, social selling, mails, whatsapp, linkedin, etc.). We will provide you the tools and training to excel in this job. 

In your role you will explore ways to generate sales growth. Besides that you will also be working closely with the marketing team to help them to identify and pursue the right targets and prospects.

As a Business development rep, you’ll inspire entrepreneurs to digitize their workflow, you will help them to work smarter.

Requirements

  • You love to talk with entrepreneurs about their business and identify their needs as to their workflow and business processes.
    • Preferably, you know a thing or two about B2B outbound sales, Customer Relationship Management and agencies
    • You strongly believe in technology and have affinity with cloud-based applications.
    • Besides that, you speak fluent Dutch (native level) and English (professional level). Proficiency in French is a plus. 
    • We don’t require work experience for this position, as long as you can prove you’re a hard-working person with some great deal of willpower.
    • Possibility to work part-time or from home office
    • Positivity and persistence. Your focus will be calls, you will need to put effort in your calls to transform those in successful sales. Positivity is key here. You’re not brought down by a bad interaction.
    • Customer centricity. You don’t want to sell, you want to help. You’re a good listener and you’re able to ask the right questions. Your main customers will be Operation Managers, Project Managers or Finance Managers. Your goal is to build a relationship with them and earn their trust.
    • Eagerness to learn and proactive. You need to be able to try different approaches, think innovative and change strategies if necessary.
    • Mainly, we focus on marketing agencies, digital agencies and IT companies. We want you to get to know and understand the entrepreneurs you’re talking to. You have a genuine interest in their market and you want to help our leads to work smarter.
