To keep fueling our growth, we are looking for a Business Developer (French speaking) for our office in Ghent and Brussels, Belgium.


This is what you do

We're looking for an experienced/driven Business Developer for Wallonia. This job entails about ideally 1-2 days in Ghent, 2-3 days in our flexible hub in Brussels and the rest of your time will be spent on the road.

Your focus will be to solidify Teamleader's name in the Walloon market and improve our market position there. To achieve this, you need to combine strong Teamleader sales skills with a knack for market research and a drive to spread the word about our great product.

You scour the Walloon market for local partnerships and networking opportunities, do channel research and visit the right fairs and events to get in touch with leads that will benefit from our product.

You present Teamleader to these qualified leads who are looking for software for CRM, project management and/or invoicing. You analyse their needs, propose Teamleader as the solution and give product demos that clearly show the added value of the tool. You refute any objections they might have and help them to get started using Teamleader. This way, you make sure a high percentage of leads are converted into customers.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you're always thinking commercially
  • You are natural networker and your enthusiasm is contagious
  • You have a knack for spotting business opportunities, be it for Teamleader, its partners or trade organisations
  • You have a strong network in the Brussels and Walloon SME market, ideally in the professional services industry
  • You have a feeling for all things digital and firmly believe in the future of cloud-based applications
  • Taking pride in your work is very important to you: your advice is crucial to make businesses work more efficiently
  • You get satisfaction out of helping your leads and closing deals
  • You have at least 2 years experience in B2B business development, preferably in an SaaS context
  • You have some previous sales experience or could easily adapt to a sales role.
  • French is your mother tongue, but you're also fluent in English. Dutch working proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience in working with CRM/ERP is a nice bonus
